Upon preparation for the opening of the Spring Festival of Ba Den Mountain – Year of the Rat, Sun World BaDen Mountain officially opened Ba Den cable car system on January 18, 2020 (ie, December 24 of the lunar calendar).
With the modern cable car system from the world’s leading brand Doppelmayr Garaventa, the early spring pilgrimage to Ba Den Mountain became easier and more convenient than ever.
The journey conquering Ba Den Mountain – the roof of the Southern region with the height of 986m has been shortened to only 8 minutes to go from the foot of the mountain (Ba Den Station) to the top (Van Son Station) by Van Son cable car. The total travel distance is 1,847m with 113 cabins ready to serve visitors with maximum capacity.
With Ba Den cable car system, it takes visitors only 5 minutes to move from the foot of the mountain (Ba Den Station) to the cultural and spiritual complex of Ba Pagoda, Hang Pagoda (Hang Pagoda Station). The total distance of Chua Hang cable car route is 1,211m with 79 cabins. Visitors will be immersed in a pristine, fresh natural world, cleared the dust of the daily life before visiting to the spiritual sacred land.
The cable car ticket price is VND 200k/round trip for both cable cars to the top of Ba Den Mountain and to the spiritual complex of Ba Pagoda. For children from 1m to 1.4m tall, the fee is reduced to VND 100k/ round trip. Especially, Ba Den cable car is free for children under 1m tall.
The opening ceremony of Tay Ninh Cable Car will officially take place on January 18, 2020 at Sun World BaDen Mountain including many interesting art programs and cultural events from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
