Linh Son Hoa Dong Pagoda was restored from an old temple where Venerable Thich Giac Dien used to practice in the mid-20th century. The old Pagoda also suffered the same fate as other pagodas in the complex of pagodas and hermitages on the mountain during war, was later restored by the head of the Chief Nun of Ba Mountain Pagoda – Thich Nu Dieu Nghia. Hoa Dong Pagoda is arranged in the familiar way of southern pagodas and temples. This means that there are two consecutive layers of houses, one after the other. The main layer has four-column structure (four-column frame in the middle) with 3 spaces, 3 spans. Around the three fronts and sides, there is another 1.50m wide corridor. The main plan area has a dimension of 10.8m wide and 9.9m deep. So, Hoa Dong pagoda has an area of only about 200m2, but has a reasonable structure which increases the ancient features of the pagoda.
