Ngoc Truyen Vihara

Ngoc Truyen Vihara was founded in 1951, following the Khat Si sect, the founders were the Chief Nun Van Lien and Nun Thich Nu Tri Lien; The current abbot is Nun Thich Nu Phung Lien. Ngoc Truyen Vihara is located at the foot of the mountain, on the left hand side of the main gate of Ba Den Mountain national tourist area. Ngoc Truyen Vihara has a long-standing historical value. The Vihara belongs to the  Congregation 1. This is the first Buddhist Congregation for monks and nuns of  Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Church, now Khat Si sect, one of the nine groups participating in the Committee of Buddhist Unification. During the War, the Vihara was a food supply station, a hiding place, a place for revolutionary cadres communication. Devastated during the war years, the Vihara is now rebuilt spaciously and sacredly, especially in 2011, Tinh Xa Ngoc Truyen was awarded by the People’s Committee the Certificate of “Qualification of civilized religious establishment” according to the Decision No. 59/QD/UBND dated 12/12/2011. If anyone has the opportunity to come to the relic, please visit the unique Vihara on Ba Den Mountain to immerse yourself in the Dharma, spirituality, to enrich the spiritual world with literary values of local identity.
