The pagoda is located at the foot of Ba Den Mountain, following the Bac Tong sect, founded in 1876, the founders are To Thanh Tho and To Phuoc Chi. The current abbot is Venerable Thich Nghiem Tam. The pagoda has an area of 2,329.2 m², Trung Pagoda is one of the 5 level-I protection zoned areas of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area. The date of death is on lunar January the 8th, Via Ba feast is on lunar April 3, lunar October 10, lunar December 20 every year and spring festival in January. The pagoda was formerly a place where the Provincial Administrative Resistance Committee has held a Conference to Build Resistance Forces against the French invaders and the Provincial Agriculture Conference since 1946.
